Houdini (AKA Ehrich Weiss) lived in Appleton for four years as a child, and always considered the city to be his hometown.

Experience the magic of AKA Houdini – an exhibit focusing on the world-renowned magician and performer Harry Houdini! Kids (and kids at heart) are able to learn and perform some of his iconic illusions, such as the Metamorphosis, and even escape from "jail" in this interactive exhibit. This exhibit takes visitors through his childhood, early career, rise to fame, and legacy with photos, video, and artifacts used by the man himself.
