1st place – The High Lift LLC. – Emilee Rysticken: A coffee shop and community gathering space, located in a renovated auto body shop in a rural community with a wide range of hours, ample seating, outdoor green space and a drive-thru for a place to relax, study and gather with friends. Emilee is 20 years old and started her first business when she was 17. She purchased the building and is doing the renovation herself.
2nd place – Divorcist – Elizabeth Paulson and Eliza Cussen: Online gift registry and community of support for those experiencing divorce and breakups.
3rd place – Brat Wave LLC – Jesse Foster: Patent pending contoured cooking sheet for cooking the curves of a bratwurst.

Homeschool Art Box, Sarah Harmeling: Monthly ‘open and go’ subscription box for homeschool art curriculum. Targeted for Grades 1-8, it completes the prep work and includes a full art history lesson, art appreciation, and instructions and supplies.
INKBOX, Bill Zimmermann: Secure, vandal-resistant and climate-controlled vending machine that dispenses best-selling printer ink cartridges, placed outside high-traffic locations in communities that are underserved by brick-and-mortar retail stores.

This virtual event is a great opportunity to collaborate with founders about co-founder, tech lead, or early employee opportunities. Each startup will pitch for 8 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A.
