Juan Corpus

Juan Corpus is the Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for New North Inc., the regional marketing and economic development organization for the 18 counties of Northeast Wisconsin. He has held the position since February 2023.

In the role, Corpus leads New North’s DEI initiatives, assists Northeast Wisconsin organizations with diversity portions of their ESG plans and mentors local partners on their respective DEI journeys. He also collaborates with the six statewide minority chambers of commerce in the development of a Diversity Digital Hub, strengthening regional connections to each organization. Additionally, Corpus works to bring resources into the region, establishes microgrants to minority non-profit organizations and directs messaging through social-media channels, among other initiatives.

Corpus joined New North following nearly a quarter-century at Humana in a variety of areas and progressively ascending roles. His final position saw him serve as senior culture & engagement consultant for Group IT of the health insurance company, a role in which he developed plans, implemented strategy and managed projects in all areas of culture, including well-being, associate experience and inclusion & diversity. Corpus also worked collaboratively with Humana’s human resources team, culture teams and the Office of Inclusion & Diversity.

He co-founded the Latino Professionals Association of Northeast Wisconsin in January 2021, becoming its president in 2022, and is a board member of Casa ALBA Melanie, the Neville Public Museum Foundation, and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Corpus has been a member of the UWGB Alumni Advisory Board since 2020.
