In his role, he is responsible for oversight of enterprise-level strategic priorities that advance regional competitiveness, leading special projects, strengthening investor strategy, and supporting President/CEO Patti Habeck in shaping and communicating the next chapter of New North.
Corpus served as executive director of the Wisconsin Latino Chamber of Commerce for the year prior to rejoining New North, leading the organization’s strategy, operations and advocacy to support Latino-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. He secured approval of a Small Business Administration appropriation to acquire and expand the entity’s headquarters, along with improving operational efficiency and financial sustainability, positioning the organization for long-term success. Corpus also oversaw the delivery of 38 workshops and 1,646 hours of technical assistance to Latino entrepreneurs.
As Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for New North Inc. from February 2023 through June 2025, Corpus led the organization’s DEI initiatives. These included five workstreams of DEI projects and collaboration with six statewide minority chambers of commerce in the development of the Diversity Digital Hub to strengthen regional connections. He also oversaw the launch and deployment of a microgrant fund that supported 20 minority-led nonprofits within the New North region in their startup or growth phase.
Prior to initially joining New North, Corpus spent nearly a quarter-century at Humana in a variety of areas and progressively ascending roles. He led more than 50 operational improvement initiatives for the health insurance company in the areas of customer service, network administration, specialty benefits process analysis, national regulatory legislative implementation, special investigations unit processes, claims cost management, consumer experience process improvement, and culture and engagement.
Corpus holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Corpus served on the UWGB Alumni Advisory Board from 2020 through 2025.
His extensive volunteer experience in the community and workplace includes the Latino Professionals Association of Northeast Wisconsin, which he co-founded; board service for the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation and Casa ALBA Melanie, a hub for members of the Green Bay Hispanic community; and mentorship to students of color at UWGB and St. Norbert College.
