EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is the world’s largest fly-in convention and makes Wittman Regional Airport the world’s busiest airport for one week each year. Daily air shows, aerobatics and pyrotechnics, feature films at the Fly-In Theater, forums, workshops, demonstrations and kids activities are all part of this week-long event. The 10,000-plus visiting aircraft and more than 600,000 attendees create an economic impact of $170 million each year in the New North.
The event is also the annual convention for the 260,000-member Experimental Aircraft Association and the world-class EAA Aviation Museum headquartered in Oshkosh, which are dedicated to growing participation in aviation.
