As Dennis Russell has retired as of
March 29, 2010 I am sending his contacts this site search. If you don't
want to be included on site searches please let me know. This is a
statewide search. We have an Asian manufacturing company seeking an
existing facility or a build to suit location in Wisconsin. Their U.S.
manufacturing facility shall serve as the base for all of North, South and
Central America. The client prefers to own or have a long term
lease. The building should be 85,000 square feet with the ability to
expand to 190,000 square feet. A special requirement is a 35 foot ceiling
height through at least 60,000 square feet of the building due to vertical
production processing. The company produces a USDA approved product which
requires a pharma grade facility. The site should have access to an interstate
type road.
Capital investment is projected to
be $40 million with the client providing $5 million in equity. They are
seeking assistance for the balance. A decision is expected to be made by
mid-April 2010. The project would be operational by the end of the year
2010. The company expects to create 160 jobs (primarily production) by
the 2nd quarter of 2011. Average wage is projected at approximately
$16.50 per hour excluding benefits.
The company is seeking the standard
