Healthcare

Healthcare continues to be affordable for both employers and employees in Wisconsin.  Expansion Management Magazine’s Healthcare Cost Quotient ranks all fifty states according to a wide variety of data that is grouped into five major categories: healthcare facilities, healthcare providers, health insurance costs, healthcare provider visit costs, and malpractice costs. Cost-related factors were given the greatest weight, given the fact that the study looks at healthcare costs from the employer's perspective.

In 2006, Wisconsin was ranked 3rd best out of 50 states.  In 2007, states were not given an overall rank but were instead categorized between one and five stars.  Wisconsin was one of ten states awarded a five star rating.
